REU application update

The AERIM-REU application deadline is today, April 15. We have so far received over 110 applications for the 10 open positions and are beginning the application review process. We expect to select student participants by early next week and will contact the selected applicants via email. We have received many high quality applications, so selecting the participants is going to be a difficult process. Should you not be selected to participate this year, please don't get discouraged. You are to be commended for your good work so far and should continue to seek out such opportunities in the future. The unfortunate part of receiving so many applications is that we will have to turn down over 90% of the applicants. :-(

Best wishes to all!
